2021 TAG Heuer FORMULA 1 Chronograph 43 mm-First Look (Reference CAZ1010AG, CAZ1010AH)
Although TAG Heuer plans to launch the main models of its 2021 series on Watches and Wonders on April 7th, we are beginning to see some new watches starting to arrive at authorized dealers-first of all these two Citrus Formula One chronographs table.
Both watches use the same 43mm stainless steel case and quartz chronograph movement, and bring a bit of color to the Formula One series.

The first new model has an anthracite dial with a pitch-effect dial similar to the Porsche Carrera we showed you last week. There are bright yellow lime highlights on the watch’s applied hour markers, sub-dial ring, hands and tachymeter bezel. The color scheme is reminiscent of the 2020 Ayrton Senna Formula 1. The dial uses a black chapter ring and blue minute markers, which are different from the combination of anthracite and yellowstone gray.
The watch is equipped with a black PVD coated chronograph button and crown, which contrasts sharply with the stainless steel case.
The black nylon strap is the new model for 2021. The first two rows of stitching are made of matching yellow lime, and the remaining stitching is made of gray blue.

The second model offers orange highlights instead of yellow-again with a black chapter ring with blue minute markers. The orange model is only available with a stainless steel bracelet… this model does not have a nylon strap.
Like all quartz Formula 1 chronographs, the date wheel is located at the 4 o’clock position, which is necessary for the design of the other three registers.

We like to see splashes of color in the Formula One racing series. Since the original series in 1986, orange and yellow models have become part of the F1 palette.
